Cubierta Solar ® Alhama de Murcia

Cubierta Solar® is a sustainable construction which combines the functional nature of large industrial warehouses making maximum use of its pitched roof for the production of photovoltaic solar energy. Cubierta Solar ® is the first sustainable industrial construction which has been built in the region of Murcia, which differs drastically from its rivals thanks to its high quality, flexibility and ensured profitability.

Location

The Industrial Park of Alhama, where Cubierta Solar ® is located, has a privileged position, with a current built-up surface of 1, 5 million m2. It is home to 400 companies and several million employees who need a complete and varied provision of services with added value.

Furthermore, the opening of the Paramount Park in Alhama de Murcia, next to the Alhama Industrial Park and its Cubierta Solar installations has been approved.

The building work in Cubierta Solar ® Alhama de Murcia started in April 2010 with the laying of the first stone, at which distinguished members of the region were present.

 

Today Cubierta Solar ® Alhama de Murcia is virtually a reality because the building work has advanced as scheduled and is in the final stages. These are some pictures of the building work executed in April 2011.
