Cubierta Solar is a leading company in the photovoltaic self-consumption sector and energy storage systems -batteries- with more than 10 years’ experience. The company belongs to G.E.T., a family business with more than 30 years’ experience, specialising in various business areas, including renewable energies.

With more than 50 MWP installed, Cubierta Solar has developed pioneering and benchmark projects throughout Spain, and is particularly well represented in the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. More than 150 installations for the most competitive sectors such as the textile, agri-food, cosmetics, automotive and tourism industries.

Innovation at the service of industry

Innovation forms part of the DNA of the company, which, from its beginnings, has been a pioneer in the installation of coplanar roofs to take full advantage of warehouse and factory roofs. The first steps in the quest for maximum efficiency, which the company took in the Group’s own industrial warehouses, creating benchmark projects such as the one deployed in Alhama de Murcia (2.75 MWP) or Onda in Castellón (3.6 MWp).

Due to its commitment to cutting-edge technologies and sustainability, Cubierta Solar has been recognised with important awards such as the National Energy Award, presented by EnerAgen (2018), the R+D+i Award from the Generalitat Valenciana (2012) and the Responsible Company Award from the Chamber of Commerce of Alicante in 2021.

The company is currently a benchmark in the implementation of projects with industrial storage systems (batteries), as well as continuing to add extensions and new photovoltaic self-consumption plants, which demonstrate the results that a commitment to clean energy brings to companies.
