Cubierta Solar has made innovation and a commitment to the Environment two of the company’s main driving forces. Since its beginnings, the company has believed in the concept of more sustainable production that would help industry save on electricity, be more efficient, self-sufficient and contribute towards saving the Planet.

More than a decade later, Cubierta Solar’s portfolio of projects includes installations that have been benchmarks and pioneers in photovoltaic self-consumption such as industrial warehouses in Alhama de Murcia, Onda, TexAthenea, extensions at companies with high electricity consumption that today exceed one megawatt of power and energy storage systems (batteries).

Among its main milestones, the company was a pioneer in the installation of coplanar panels, taking full advantage of factory roofs and revolutionised the solutions that photovoltaics could provide with the creation of innovative pergolas and parking canopies.

A more than 12,000 tonne reduction in C02 emitted into the atmosphere

As a result of the more than 150 projects implemented, it has been possible to reduce annual CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by more than 12,000 tonnes. An important contribution in environmental terms that won the Alicante Chamber of Commerce Responsible Company Award in 2021.
